Country Foodly feels like a blend between a classic American diner and a casual Korean eatery tucked into Gainesville’s NW side. Its vibe is straightforward and unpretentious—think no-frills diner booths and modest decor that leans a bit rustic. It’s the kind of spot where locals come ready for a hearty breakfast or a comfy lunch without any fuss.

What stands out here is the mix of familiar diner staples alongside Korean-inspired breakfast and lunch plates. The menu covers everything from fluffy omelettes (with unique takes like bulgogi or mushroom mallow) to Korean favorites such as bulgogi tacos, ramyun, and potstickers. This blend makes it a solid choice for anyone craving either a traditional American breakfast or wanting to try a local twist on Korean flavors.

People who appreciate quick, satisfying meals with comforting flavors will find plenty to like. Frequent visitors often mention the bulgogi dishes as highlights, especially the spicy pork platter and the bulgogi eggs benedict. Breakfast here is popular too—options like crispy hash browns and corned beef hash appeal to those who want a filling morning meal without waiting too long.

The atmosphere is casual and pretty relaxed, though it’s been described as a bit rustic and understated—nothing fancy or polished, more about the food and comfortable familiarity. The staff generally make the experience smooth and friendly, contributing to that easy-going local diner feel. Arriving early on weekend mornings helps secure a spot before the place fills up.

Country Foodly works well for individuals or families who want a no-hassle breakfast or lunch with a slight Korean twist—especially those who don’t mind a straightforward, unembellished setting. It’s a practical stop if you’re looking for good value and diverse comfort food options in a low-key environment.

Atmosphere is very rustic and kind of dingy, had a great waitress she was very friendly and prompt, The food tasted good and hit the spot. Warning though they do charge extra .50 fee to your order for no reason at all. We did not order anything extra but charged fee anyways. Don't think I will go back to again.

For the price, the variety the menu offers, and the food quality, this is a very good, unassuming diner for breakfast and lunch. It's nothing fancy! There's even Korean food offered. The blueberry pancakes, hash browns, eggs, bacon, grits, and crispy corned beef hash were all great. We arrived at 9 AM on a Saturday and found a table. By 10 AM, all tables were taken-- so arrive earlier than later! But this would also be a great place for takeout. Yelp rates this place at 4.5 stars.

Been there several times, super chilled out atmosphere, diner style, great food of all types. I love the beef bulgogi and spicy pork platter and omelette. My daughter loves it too. Really nice people who work there.

Great diner with such a friendly and welcoming staff! I love the unique Korean twist on their breakfast items — it makes the whole menu stand out. The spicy bulgogi omelette was absolutely amazing, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The hash browns were spot-on too — crispy outside, fluffy inside. Very flavorful all around. I’ll definitely be back again soon!

Small hole in the wall, but omg such amazing food. Mix of traditional breakfast and korean food. They had a Thai Curry Omelette that I had to go back for again, it was so good. Staff is super friendly. No fancy coffee cocktails, but genuinely good coffee. I'm a decaf drinking and always have a hard time finding good decaf at places. They made me a fresh pot and oh yeah, it was good!! I can't have too much bread, so I normally skip any side of toast or biscuit. They gave me a few options to swap, which I've never been offered elsewhere

This little restaurant was definitely worth it! The food is delicious and portions are generous. They use real ham not this deli sliced crap. It's a small diner but if you like to meet new people this is the place. Immediately knew when I walked in this was going to be better than a corporate restaurant. Well done!!
